Editorial Design
We developed an object that makes explicit the text by Paul Preciado, Library of Love published in The Love Issue n.34 F/W 2020, bringing them out of the page and turning them into an experience. The work is divided into four sections, each introduced by his words, to express our personal reinterpretation. As he wrote: “The bookshops fill up with these foreign bodies. Some of them will make it into houses, find their place in bookcases, stretch themselves out on bedside tables, and even slip between unfamiliar sheets. Books, like viruses, are intermediate entities, halfway between objects and living things.” This reflection encapsulates the very essence of our approach: to treat the book not only as a container of words, but as a living presence capable of inhabiting spaces, bodies, and thoughts.
